Inner Landscapes
"My current work explores adaptation. Following a diagnosis of a chronic autoimmune disease that heavily restricted my physical mobility, my creative practice has become a site for rebuilding and redefining.
I use heavy impasto layers, fragments and visible marks of colour to express a cacophony of contradictory emotions. These paintings are a search for harmony within complexity; they are ‘inner landscapes’ where gentle rhythms and playful marks serve as a path toward slow recovery.
By navigating the tension between physical stillness and emotional chaos, I seek a space where both can exist and breathe."
